The third in a series looking back at recent Cardinals drafts. The Cardinals drafted nine players in 1998 that made it to the majors.

The Cardinals made a big splash in the 1998 First-Year Player Draft, selecting J.D. Drew and Chad Hutchinson, who were arguably the top two players, even though they were deemed by most to be unsignable.
