Minicamp Report: Day Three

Steve Spurrier and Dameyune Craig

The day started with Joe Theismann addressing the team, something he's done at previous workouts for other coaches. This time Steve Spurrier wanted Theismann to talk about what it means to be a Redskin. If only Theismann weren't so shy . . . Five minutes later, the players broke for practice. We're not sure if Theismann was actually done talking. We kid because we love and Theismann is always a treat to talk to: good, strong opinions. He was a highlight; here are others.

Steve Spurrier stood in the background once more, behind the assembled media, as newly-signed Renaldo Wynn addressed the crowd. It's not the first time Spurrier has stepped to the side.
