2008 Season
Matt finished the 08 campaign making three appearances for Quad Cities, tossing four shutout innings in relief. Prior to his promotion to the River Bandits, Frevert went 4-0 with one save and an ERA of 3.26 after 21 appearances with the rookie league Johnson City Cardinals.

Career Notes
The Big East Pitcher of the Year, finished the 2007/08 college season with a 9-1 record and a 2.91 ERA. He finished his career at St. John's with posting a 22-3 career record.

Trivia pursuit, in 2008 Fervert became the 59th different player to suit up for the River Bandits, setting a new franchise record.
