2008 Season
Eric finished his first professional season in fine fashion, with a won-loss record of 2-3 with one save and a 1.89 ERA, playing for the GCL Cardinals (nine games/three starts) and the Johnson City Cardinals (two games/one start). At the time Fornataro was promoted to Johnson City, he was considered one of the top starters for the GCL team.
