Current Contract
One year minor contract apparently, eligible for the Rule 5 Draft after the 2008 season.

Became a Cardinal
Acquired via trade from the Cleveland Indians for Anthony Reyes on July 26, 2008.

2008 Season
Perdomo started the season playing in the Carolina League where he posted a record of 3-1 with a 0.92 ERA in 31 games, earning 18 saves and being selected to play in the Carolina League All-Star game. After being traded to St. Louis, Luis appeared in 15 games for the Double-A Springfield Cardinals, where he went 2-2 with one save in 15 games, 18.0 innings pitched.

Career Notes
Perdomo picked up a save in the 2008 Class-A Carolina League All-Star Game. Originally signed by the Indians as a non-drafted free agent on April 23, 2003.
