Became a Cardinal
Signed as an undrafted free agent late in the 2007 season.

2008 Season
Made his pro debut with the GCL Cardinals, where he hit .270/.357/.568 with two home runs and 12 RBIs in 11 games. He then skipped two levels to play for the Quad Cities River Bandits, where he closed out the season, hitting .184/.223/.319 with four home runs and 17 RBIs in 141 at-bats and 38 games. Pupo played winter ball in Colombia, following the 08 campaign.

Career Notes
Played one season each for Palm Beach Community College (2004), Indian River Community College (2005), Newberry College (South Carolina) in 2006 and Purdue University in 2007.
