Became a Cardinal
Selected in the 17th round (532nd overall) of the June, 2007 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $15,000 signing bonus and $15,000 for school.

2008 Season
Arburr split playing time between the Quad Cities River Bandits (59 games) and the Palm Beach Cardinals (47 games), hitting a combined .228 with 22 home runs and 60 RBIs. He struggled at the bat in his first month of Class-A advance ball, hitting just .180 through his first 89 at-bats, before showing signs of life, hitting .238 in August. Nine of his 22 home runs came with the Palm Beach Cardinals.

2007 Season
Hit .207 with 5 HR, 8-2B, and 20 RBI during 44-game pro debut with Batavia (NY-P) in 2007
