Selected in the 21st round (646th overall) of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft. Signed to a 2007 contract on May 21, 2007.

2008 Season
Diapoules split playing time between Quad Cities (13 games, 8 starts) & Palm Beach (11 games, 10 starts), posting a combined record of 8-4 with a 3.93 ERA. Mark started his first full season of professional baseball in fine fashion, going 3-0 with a save and an ERA of 2.08, after his first five starts with Quad Cities.

Career Notes
The one season that Mark played for Palm Beach Community College, he led the team in strikeouts and innings pitched.
