Became a Cardinal:
Selected in the 10th round (322nd overall) of the June, 2007 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $123,000 signing bonus.

2008 Season
A rough season at the plate, Beau split playing time between Batavia (40 games) and Quad Cities (11 games), hitting a combined .191 (31-for-159). He struck out 32 times, or basically once at every five times at bat, but drew only three walks, (a walk every fifty at-bats).

2007 Season
Hit .315-2-15 with 31R and 10-SB during 48G pro debut with Johnson City (Appalachian), collecting 16 multi-hit games and four 3-hit games.

Hit both homers in one July 18 game at Kingsport, part of a 15G-hitting streak in which he batted .435 (27-62).

Beau Riportella posted a .315 batting average, which was 4th-highest in the Appy League in 2007.
