2008 Season
Nieto help lead the Batavia Muckdogs to a championship season, by going 6-1 with a 2.95 ERA, in 15 games, including nine starts for the Muckdogs. His 5-0 record with a 1.28 ERA prior to the All-Star break, paved the way for him to the NYPL All-Star game.
2007 Season
Nieto fanned 56 in 59 1/3 innings and walked just 13 for the Dominican Summer League Cardinals. His ERA was 2.73 and WHIP 1.16. The 18-year-old right-hander held opponents to a .247 batting average.
