2007 Season Notes
Appeared in seven games and made five starts in his pro debut with the Dominican Summer League Cardinals. Urena tossed four scoreless frames and allowed one hit and one walk with six strikeouts in his debut on July 18 against the DSL Athletics. He set a career high with seven strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings on July 31 against the DSL Mariners. Urena earned his first career win with a season-best six shutout innings, yielding just one hit with two walks and six strikeouts on Aug. 18 against the Athletics.
