Current Contract
Signed by the St. Louis Cardinals in September, 2007, contract renewable through 2013.

Became a Cardinal
Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 19th round of the June, 2007 draft from the University of Texas.

2008 Season
Nick got a late start to the minor league season, starting the year in Extended Spring Training, being carried on the Johnson City Cardinals roster. He was activated and reported to Quad Cities near the end of May. He struggled at the plate, hitting just .183 (33-for-180), with three home runs and 17 RBIs.

Career Notes
Peoples suffered a broken collarbone in the NCAA Regionals just prior to the 2007 draft. As a result he became the last draftee to come to terms with the Cardinals.
