Selected in the 43rd round (1,287th overall) of the June, 2007 First-Year Player Draft.

2008 Season
Bilardello remained in the Cardinals extended spring training camp when the regular season started. He was promoted to the Palm Beach Cardinals near the end of May, where he would go on to post a record of 6-1 with a 4.25 ERA with two saves to his credit.

Career Notes
Bilardello underwent "Tommy John" surgery in September 2002.
