2008 Season
Rivera played the bulk of the 08 campaign between first base and as the club's designated hitter, with a few games in the outfield. The left-handed hitter, hit .291 with one home run and 34 RBIs. He missed some playing time early in August because of a strained oblique muscle. He played winter ball in the Mexican Pacific League after the 08 season.
