Became a Cardinal
Selected in the 25th round (766th overall) of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft. Signed to a 2007 contract in May, 2007.

2008 Season
Hit .235 (60-for-255) with four home runs and 16 RBIs. He stole seven bases, but was caught eight times. He had a nine game hitting streak from 07/23-08/01, hitting .395 (15-for-38) with six multi-hit games and seven runs scored, during the streak.

2007 Season
D’Marcus Ingram had 17 stolen bases in 2007, which ranked 4th-most in the GCL. Rated the 16th-best prospect in the Gulf Coast League by Baseball America.
