2007 Season
Was set to begin 2007 w/ QC before a broken hand in Spring Training sidelined him for 3 months; Hit .221-1-8 with 9-2B in 38 G w/ Batavia (NY-P)

2006 Season
Carpenter hit .189/.278/.225 in 37 games for short-season Class A State College.

Career Notes
Was an all Big East selection as a catcher for the West Virginia University Mountaineers. He committed just two errors in 182 total chances for a .989 fielding percentage behind the plate at State College in 06.
