Became a Cardinal
Selected in the 14th round (442nd overall) of the June, 2007 First-Year Player Draft.

2008 Season
Dew played two stints at Double-A Springfield, finishing the season there. He posted a combined record between Palm Beach and Springfield of 4-3 with an ERA of 3.55, in 59 games, 50.0 innings pitched. He was very effective at Palm Beach where he went 3-1 with five saves and a 1.73 ERA.

2007 Season
Joshua Dew’s 15 saves were 2nd-most in the league and his 22 games finished 3rd-most. Joshua was selected to the NY-Penn League All-Star Game but did not see action.
