2008 Season
A broken hand sidelined Hill for a month, but the Crown Prince of Palm Beach, bounced back to put together another quality season. He started the season at Palm Beach, where he hit .320/.373/.582 with seven home runs in 32 games, before being promoted to Springfield. The versatile Hill found himself playing behind the plate and at both corner outfield positions in his brief stint (26 games) at Double-A. When it was over, Hill had hit a combined .293 with 17 home runs and 34 RBIs, with slash stats of .334/.544/.878 (OBP/SLG/OPS). Hill played in the Arizona Fall League for the Peoria Saguaros, at the end of the 08 season.
2007 Season
Named Midwest League Player of the Week for 7/23-29 due to five straight multi-hit efforts and four consecutive multi-RBI games. For the week, he led the league in batting average (.467), RBIs (16) and hits (14). Hill split playing time between Batavia (10 games) & Quad Cities (62 games), hitting a combined .320 with 12 home runs and 55 RBI.
