Became a Cardinal
Selected in the eighth round (262nd overall) of the June, 2007 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $150,000 signing bonus.

2008 Season
Making a good impression in spring training, Henley found himself playing for the Palm Beach Cardinals at the beginning of the 08 season. He continued to play well, hitting .316 with six doubles, three triples, three home runs and 13 RBIs, before a broken finger, landed him on the DL. Om 96 at-bats, Henley posted a line of .313/.370/.531 (BA/OBP/SLG).

Injuries limited Henley to just four games in June, but he rebounded to play 27 and 29 games in July and August respectively. Overall, Henley hit .284 with seven home runs and 42 RBIs for Palm Beach.
