Selected in the 38th round (1,153rd overall) of the June, 2007 First-Year Player Draft.

2008 Season
Played in 95 games for the Quad Cities River Bandits hitting .238 with three home runs and 25 RBIs. Twenty-three of his 80 hits were for extra bases and he stole 13 bases, so he is someone worth keeping an eye on.

2007 Season
Hit .279 with 7 doubles, 10 RBI, and 16 runs during his 36-game pro debut with Johnson City (Appalachian League).
