2008 Season
J.D. posted a record of 2-5 with a 6.43 ERA for Quad Cities, after beginning the season on the Batavia Muckdogs DL list and playing three games for the GCL Cardinals.

2007 Season
Stambaugh went 3-2 with a 3.15 ERA for the Batavia Muckdogs (New York-Penn League) after the draft in 2007, appearing in 17 ballgames (nine starts). He struck out 53 while walking just eight over 65.2 innings
