Current Contract

Became a Cardinal
Selected in the 21st round (652nd overall) of the June, 2007 First-Year Player Draft.

2008 Season
Brian made his final start of the 2008 campaign on June 30th, at which time he was placed on the Quad Cities DL list, for the rest of the season. Off to a very rough start, Broderick had posted a record of 3-6 with a 4.67 ERA and three saves, before going on the DL. Brian finished the season rehabbing in Florida.

2007 Season
Broderick had a successful pro debut in short-season ball, splitting his season between Johnson City (Appalachian) and Batavia (New York-Penn). Overall, he went 3-3 with a 2.55 ERA, 53 strikeouts, and just seven walks over 67 innings (16G, 9GS).

He started the year with a 2-2 record and a 1.75 ERA in Johnson City before finishing strong with 30 strikeouts, just three walks, and 1-1, 3.48 numbers for Batavia.
