Became a Cardinal
Selected in the fifth round (166th overall) of the June, 2006 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $175,000 signing bonus.

2007 Season
A foot injury limited Robinson to just 47 games in 07. After four games with the GCL Cardinals, Shane played 43 games for Palm Beach, hitting .253 with three home runs and 13 RBI. He appeared to recover from the foot injury, stealing 14 bases in 18 attempts.

2006 Season
Robinson hit .282/.346/.333, stealing 13 bases in 16 attempts, in 63 games for low Class A Quad Cities.
