2008 Season
Brandon played good enough in the first half to get named to the Texas League Mid-Season All-Star team. After hitting .264 in the first half of the season, in 49 games, 174 at-bats, Yarbrough had problems in the second half, hitting just .212 in 45 games.
Career Notes
In 2004, when he hit .326 in 48 games for Rookie-level Johnson City, he was two hits shy of winning the Appalachian League batting title. His .867 OBP ranked 6th-best among Cardinals minor leaguers.
