Selected in the third round (106th overall) of the June, 2006 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $325,000 signing bonus.

2008 Season
A nightmare of a season for Daley who continues to have major problems with his control. He split playing time between Palm Beach and being on a rehab assignment with the GCL Cardinals, where he had a record of 0-5 with a 24.39 ERA, walking 32 batters in just 10.1 innings pitched. His stock has dropped significantly since being selected in third round of the 2006 draft.
