2008 Season
Rivero played in 66 games as the everyday center fielder for the VSL Cardinals, hitting .309 (73-for-236) with two home runs and 33 RBIs. The 19-year-old outfielder had 20 multi-hit games, and a 16 game hitting streak and 22 game on base streak to highlight his 2008 campaign.

Career Notes
In 2007, his first season of professional baseball, Alberto drew more walks (29) then he struck out (26). He hit .264 with one home run and 16 RBIs.
