2007 Season
In 28 starts for Triple-A Memphis last year, Parisi went 8-13 with a 4.91 ERA and 1.56 WHIP. He ranked among Pacific Coast league leaders in games started (28-2nd), innings pitched (165.0-4th) and losses (13-3rd) in his first season at Triple-A Memphis. His 111 strikeouts were second on the Memphis club behind Mike Smith (127). He fanned a season-high 12 batters in 7.0 IP on 7/7/07 vs. Albuquerque
Career Notes:
In 27 starts for Double-A Springfield in 2006, Parisi went 9-8 with a 4.60 ERA. In 150.2 innings, he allowed 168 hits, walked 63 and struck out 107. Opponents hit .281 against him.
Following the season, Parisi was chosen by the Cardinals to participate in the Arizona Fall League. In nine games for the Peoria Saguaros, he posted a 7.88 ERA, allowing 18 hits, walking seven and striking out 14.
Parisi made seven starts for short-season Class A New Jersey in 2004 before being promoted to low Class A Peoria where he posted a 3.28 ERA in six starts.
In 2005, Parisi began the season with low Class A Quad Cities and went 5-5 with a 4.08 ERA in 14 starts. He allowed 98 hits, striking out 66 and walking 25 in 86 innings. He was promoted to high Class A Palm Beach on June 20, and went 5-6 with a 3.23 ERA in 13 starts, allowing 79 hits, striking out 63 and walking 22 in 78 innings.
