Current Contract
Contract renewable though 2012.

Became a Cardinal
Selected in the second round (54th overall) of the June, 2006 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $600,000 signing bonus.

2007 Season
Split the season between Quad Cities and Palm Beach, playing the final eight games of the season in Florida. In eight games for Palm Beach, he kept opposing batters to a .237 batting average.

2006 Season
Furnish made 15 starts for short-season Class A State College, going 3-6 with a 3.94 ERA, allowing 65 hits, striking out 68 and walking 19 in 75.1 innings. Opponents hit .234 against him.

Career Notes
He has a record of 9-12 with a 3.49 ERA through his first two seasons of professional ball. He's appeared in 44 games before the 2008 season, including 32 starts.
