2008 Season
Gregerson put together a good season at Double-A, after starting the year with some minor shoulder issues. Luke finished the season, appearing in 57 games, with a record of 7-6 and 10 saves, over 75.1 innings pitched. At the end of the regular season, Gregerson played the fall and winter schedule for the Bravos de Margarita of the Venzuelan Winter League.
2007 Season
Posted a record of 3-4 with 29 saves in 53 appearances for the Palm Beach Cardinals. He appeared in one game for the Springfield Cardinals, pitching just one inning, giving up a hit and striking out three. He played in six games for the Mesa Solar Sox in the AFL, finishing the fall season with an 0-1 record and a 7.04 ERA.
Gregerson earned the Pitcher of the Game award at the FSL All-Star Game. He struck out the only two batters he faced to start the 7th inning.
His 53 games pitched were 2nd-most in the FSL. He ranked 3rd in the league with 29 saves, 43 games finished and average runners allowed per nine innings (8.86). Opponents batted .183 against him in the FSL, 3rd-lowest among league relievers
Career Notes
Gregerson split the 2006 season between Rookie-level Johnson City and short-season Class A State College. Overall, he appeared in 27 games, going 6-2 with a 2.81 ERA, allowing 23 hits, striking out 46 and walking 15 in 32 innings. Opponents hit .195 against him.
