2007 Season
Named Texas League Pitcher of the Week for the week of 6/25 - 7/1 due to a start and win on 6/29 at Midland in which he tossed 7.0 shut-out innings, allowing just three hits. Posted a record of 4-6 with a 3.52 ERA with the Palm Beach Cardinals before getting promoted to Springfield, where he won five and lost seven with an ERA of 5.94.
2006 Season
Daniels made 24 starts for low Class A Quad Cities, going 7-11 with a 3.07 ERA, allowing 139 hits, striking out 128 and walking 44 in 137.2 innings. He spent 15 days on the disabled list in May with a pulled hamstring. His 3.07 ERA ranked 4th-lowest in the Cardinals minor league system and 15th in the Midwest League.
Career Notes
Daniels spent the 2005 season with the short-season A New Jersey Cardinals where he went 2-1 in ten game appearances, five of which were starts. He compiled a 4.50 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in 26 innings while holding opponents to a .189 batting average. Daniels gave up 18 hits and 18 walks in that span. He spent a brief time on the suspended list in early August.
