2006 Season:
Russ posted a 4.17 ERA in 55 appearnces out of the Springfield Cardinals bullpen. Opponents hit .271 against him and he struck out 50 while walking 25 in 73.1 innings.

Career Notes:
Russ was a 12th round draft pick of the Yankees in 2001, but was released following the 2002 season. He has compiled a 17-17 record, with a 3.80 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in 239 innings over 187 minor league games, all as a reliever.
