Became a Cardinal:
Acquired from the Boston Red Sox along with OF Carlos De La Cruz in exchange for LHP Mike Myers on March 29, 2005.

2006 Season:
Ool posted a 4.10 ERA in 45 appearances for Double-A Springfield. Opponents hit .264 against him in 83.1 innings.

Career Notes:
A 16th round draft pick of the Boston Red Sox in 2003, Ool has a 3.65 ERA in 155 career minor league appearances. In his first season with the Cardinals, he advanced from low Class A Quad Cities to Double-A Springfield and posted a combined ERA of 3.07.
