Became a Cardinal:
Signed as a non-drafted free agent on June 20, 2005.

2006 Season:
Danielson spent the entire season with high Class A Palm Beach, hitting .249/.352/.303 with 22 stolen bases in 36 attempts in 114 games.

Career Notes:
After signing in 2005, Danielson was assigned to short-season Class A New Jersey where he received limited at bats through the end of July. His opportunity came when regular centerfielder Yonathan Sivira missed time due to an injury. He would go on to become the starter in centerfield and hit .344/.407/.382 with 19 stolen bases in 40 games before being promoted to Quad Cities on August 30th. He hit .333 in six games with the Swing. After the season, he was named the New Jersey Cardinals Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year.
