Current Contract:
Contract rewewable through 2007.

Became a Cardinal:
Selected in the third round round (104th overall) of the June, 2001 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $375,000 signing bonus.

2006 Season:
Mather hit .269 with 16 home runs and 74 RBI in 124 games for high Class A Palm Beach. He was a perfect nine-for-nine in stolen base attempts.

Career Notes:
Mather is a career .249/.320/.423 hitter since being drafted in 2001.
