2006 Season:
Lane appeared in 14 games (eight starts) for short-season Class A State College, posting a 3.29 ERA, allowing 51 hits, striking out 45 and walking 13 in 65.2 innings. Opponents hit .209 against him.

Career Notes:
Lane made 13 starts for Rookie-level Johnson City in 2005, going 2-6 with a 5.37 ERA, allowing 68 hits, striking out 51 and walking 22 in 55-1/3 innings. He averaged 8.3 strikeouts per nine innings, sixth-best among Cards minor league starters.
