2006 Season:
Hearne made 31 appearances (17 starts) for low Class A Quad Cities, going 12-3 with a 2.25 ERA, allowing 102 hits, striking out 106 and walking 34 in 128 innings. Opponents hit .216 against him.

Career Notes:
Hearne spent the 2005 season with the short-season Class A New Jersey Cardinals where he compiled a 4-2 record, 2.56 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 38.2 innings over 24 game appearances. He gave up 25 hits and walked 12 batters while striking out 42 and holding them to a .181 batting average.
