2006 Season:
Dryer split the 2006 season between high Class A Palm Beach and Double-A Springfield, hitting .263/.329/.452 with 16 home runs and 61 RBI in 100 games.
Career Notes:
Dryer was twice drafted by the San Francisco Giants, in the 35th round in 1999 out of high school and in the 15th round in 2002 out of college. He played in the Arizona Rookie League and Northwest League for the Giants in 2002 and spent 2003 in the independant Atlantic League after he was released by the Giants in spring training. The Cardinals picked him up in February, 2004, and he spent most of that season playing for low Class A Peoria, hitting .294/.401/.460 with seven home runs and 51 RBI in 72 games. Dryer spent the 2005 season at high Class A Palm Beach, hitting .219/.296/.416 with 21 home runs and 76 RBI in 121 games.
