Selected in the 34th round (1,032nd overall) of the June, 2002 First-Year Player Draft.

2006 Season:
McCoy hit .249 with three home runs in 129 games for Double-A Springfield in 2006. He stole 30 bases in 39 attemtps.

Career Notes:
Since being drafted in 2002, McCoy has hit .259/.359/.344 with 106 stolen bases in 520 games.
