Selected in the sixth round of the June, 2006 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $45,000 signing bonus.
2006 Season:
Norrick was promoted to low Class A Quad Cities from short-season Class A State College after just one appearance in which he picked up the win, goin 4 innings, striking out nine and allowing just one run. For Quad Cities he was 2-2 with a 3.72 ERA in 13 games (12 starts), allowing 60 hits, striking out 60 and walking 35 in 65.1 innings.
