Biography:
Career Stats

Current Contract:
Contract renewable through 2011.

Became a Cardinal:
Selected in the 10th round of the June, 2005 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $2,000 signing bonus.

2006 Season:
Roth began the season with low Class A Quad Cities where he hit .307/.354/.523 with 18 home runs and 67 RBI in 97 games. On July 24, he was promoted to high Class A Palm Beach where he hit .295/.368/.448 with 10 doubles in 30 games.

Career Notes:
After signing with St. Louis in 2005, Roth was assigned to the Rookie-level Johnson City Cardinals where he hit .328/.368/.630/.998 in 119 at bats. He was promoted to the short-season A New Jersey Cardinals on August 2. While there he hit .244/.283/.387/.670, again 119 at bats. Roth primarily played third base but did appear at first base and in left and right field.
