Career Stats

Current Contract:
Contract renewable through 2011.

Became a Cardinal:
Signed as a non-drafted free agent on January 14, 2005.

2006 Season:
Solano joined the State College Spikes at the start of their season on June 20. He played in only two games before spraining his ankle and sitting out for 21 days (June 22-July 12). In 44 games, Solano hit .282 with a .341 OBP.

Career Notes:
Signed out of Colombia prior to the 2005 season, Solano began that season in extended spring training and joined Rookie-level Johnson City when their season began on June 21. He hit .262/.337/.290 in 45 games before being promoted to short-season Class A New Jersey on August 15, where he would hit .247/.341/.312 in 22 games. In two seasons overall, he has hit .267/.340/.296.
