2006 Season:
Meacham began the season with low Class A Quad Cities, going 1-2 with a 6.88 ERA through his first four starts. He was then placed on the disabled list on April 24 with shoulder inflammation. He returned from the disabled list on May 5 and went 7-3 with a 2.40 ERA in his next 13 starts, earning a promotion to high Class-A Palm Beach on July 18. In eight starts for Palm Beach, he went 5-3 with a 3.45 ERA. Overall, between the two levels, Meacham was 13-8 with a 3.25 ERA, allowing 132 hits, striking out 81 and walking 42 in 146.2 innings. Opponents hit .245 against him.

Career Notes:
Meacham was the only member of the Cardinals 2005 draft class to be promoted twice and play at three different levels that season. Beginning with Johnson City, Meacham ended the season with low Class A Quad Cities. Overall, he is 15-12 with a 3.51 ERA in two seasons.
