2005 Season:
Russ spent the entire 2005 season on the class A-Advanced Palm Beach Cardinals roster where he worked exclusively out of the bullpen. He compiled a 2-3 record with a 5.35 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in thirty-seven innings over twenty-nine game appearances. Russ gave up 44 hits and eleven walks while striking out nineteen.

Career Notes:
2006 will be Chris Russ' sixth season in professional ball. He has compiled a 13-13 record, with a 3.64 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in one hundred sixty-five and two-thirds innings over one hundred thirty-two game appearances, all as a reliever. Russ was originally drafted in the 12th round of the 2001 draft by the New York Yankees.
