2005 Season:
Falkenborg had a 5.25 ERA in 28 appearances with the Padres' Triple-A Portland affiliate before being released at the beginning of August. He also appeared in 10 games for San Diego before being let go, compiling an ERA of 8.18 in 11 innings. He appeared in 13 games for Triple-A Memphis after being signed by the Cardinals on August 8, going 1-0 with a 1.69 ERA, allowing 10 hits, striking out 14 and walking five in 16 innings.

Career Notes:
A second round draft pick of the Orioles in 1996, Falkenborg appeared in only three major league games, all in 1999, before being picked up by the Seattle Mariners prior to the 2001 season as a minor league free agent. He signed with the Dodgers' organization prior to the 2004 season and appeared in six major league games for the Dodgers that season. He was signed by the Padres after the 2004 season. Falkenborg has a 6.99 ERA in 18 career major league appearances and a 4.30 ERA in 174 career minor league appearances.
