Career Notes:
Drafted in the 22nd round in 1996 by the Kansas City Royals, Pellow reached Triple-A in 1998, but plateaued there, spending almost four productive seasons in Omaha before making his MLB debut in 2002. The 32-year-old has caught, played corner infield and corner outfield positions and hit with some power in his career. He signed with Colorado prior to the 2003 season and was the Rockies' opening day starter in left field in 2004. He is a career .252 hitter in 59 career major league games.
