Biography:
Career Stats

Current Contract:
Signed through 2006.

Became a Cardinal:
Signed to a minor league contract on December 21, 2005.

2005 Season:
Daubach signed a minor league deal with the Mets prior to the season and began the year with Triple-A Norfolk, but was called up by the Mets on June 15. He hit .120 with a home run in 15 games for the Mets before being designated for assignment on July 15, and returning to Norfolk. He hit .325/.426/.554 with 16 home runs and 62 RBI in 99 games for the Tides.

Career Notes:
A 17th round draft pick of the Mets in 1990, Daubach signed with the Florida Marlins as a minor league free agent prior to the 1997 season and made his major league debut with them in 1998. He signed with the Red Sox after the 1998 season and collected 20-or-more home runs in four consecutive seasons with the Red Sox from 1999-2002. He signed with the White Sox in 2003 and went back to the Red Sox for the 2004 Season. He is a career .259/.341/.476 hitter with 93 home runs in 661 career major league games.
