ON THE DL BECAME A CARDINAL: Cardinals' 14th round selection in the June, 2004 First-Year Player Draft.

CAREER NOTES: 2004 - Named New York-Penn League Batter of the Week for the week ending 7/4 as he batted .387 with a home run and 11 RBI for the week.

Named to the All-Big 12 Second Team by the league’s coaches and to the All-Big 12 First Team by the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram…ranked 2nd on the team in hits (68), batting average (.313) home runs (8) and total bases (109)…named to the NCAA Lincoln Regional All-Tournament Team in 2003…voted a member of the 2003 honorable mention All-Big 12 Team…selected as a second team All-Big 12 Academic Team member in 2003.
