| Missed two weeks with shoulder stiffness (May 29 - July 12). Tore a ligament in his elbow in a spot start on July 1 and had Tommy John surgery performed by Cardinals’ team doctor George Paletta on July 22. Was moved to the bullpen in early May after he struggled in the rotation. In 17 appearances, he went 1-4 with a 4.83 ERA, striking out 36 and walking 26 in 54 innings. |
