BECAME A CARDINAL Selected by the Cardinals in the 5th round of the 1995 free-agent draft, did not sign.

Signed as a free-agent by the Cardinals, November 5, 2003.

FYI - Cody is the son of Cardinals Coach Dave McKay.

CONTRACT STATUS: Minor league contract assigned to Memphis

2005 OUTLOOK: McKay will spend most of the season at Memphis. He could get a call up if one of the Cardinals' catchers are injured.
