| LF Jason Bay became the first Pirate to win NL Rookie of the Year as he hit .282 with 26 homers and 82 RBIs last season despite missing the first month as he recovered from shoulder surgery. Bay will have to prove he wasn't a one-year wonder but seems to be the real deal with his live bat and good range in the outfield. |
